Hello All,
I've been a Guzzista for a little over 10 years now, starting with an civilian Eldorado with drum type non-brakes and a near total lack of acceleration. I said arrivederci to that one and found an ex-LAPD Eldorado that I have named Mojo GrisGris. I served in the Navy aboard the USS Eldorado, an amphibious force flagship, so it's a bit of destiny.
Shortly after finding the ultimate Eldo, I came across a '96 1100i that was identical to a 1:18 scale model that I had bought years before. It also had a wild skull front fender ornament. I should note that the Eldo had a skull keychain when I bought it. The previous owner whispered "the skull comes with it!". I couldn't resist, so that's Guzzi 2.
More recently, I fell in love with the new V7 racer. I loved the V7 classic, and this is the Cafe Racer version. Bellisima! So I've got one on order, and if all goes well I'll be riding it this spring.
In order to finance my new bike, I am clearing out some of my other bikes. Guzzi is now the dominant force in the Moon garage, although I will keep one Yamaha SR500, and a BSA Bantam D1 hardtail.
I have a fondness for big Thumpers, so sometime down the line I hope to round up a Guzzi single of some sort.
Meanwhile, I hope to meet up with the other Guzzisti and ride 'em around.
